There have been a number of new issues over the past few months that it became difficult to update the main web site with these items. In order to make the announcement process easier and more timely for our members and visitors, we have set up a web log (blog) specifically focused on the announcement of new map stamp issues. The new blog has been customized to resemble the rest of the Society's web site. As the blog enables notification of new posts, it is possible for both members and visitors to subscribe to the "feeds" from the blog, using either RSS or email and receive alerts when new issues are posted.

The blog site is running on the Society's mirror web site cartophilately.org. You can access the blog at http://blog.cartphilately.org and you will want to book mark that page and check it often, or subscribe to the email or RSS alerts.

Issues for the previous years which were described on the web site, will be maintained here, until further notice. You can browse those issues using the links at the bottom of this page.

Alert Us To New Issues

If you have news about a new issue that is of interest to your fellow Society members, please send me an email with a scan or the URL to the stamp news on the issuing postal authority. Additional information or corrections about the issues shown here is also appreciated. Depending on the schedule, the new issue may be shown on the web site, and will be forwarded to the Checklist Editor for entry to the list.

The main source of new issue information for cataloged issues will continue to be the New Issues column in the Society's Journal, the New CartoPhilatelist.
